Who writes here
Reviews on 99deals Reviews carry a team byline, 99Teams, and the name of the desk that produced them. That is deliberate. A review here is not one person's opinion after a weekend with a product — it is a reading of the public record, assembled and checked against a written method.
Attributing that work to an invented individual with a fabricated biography would be more marketable and less honest. So we do not.
The desks
- Pets — grooming, cleaning, feeding, and the tools that live with an animal in the house.
- Home & Kitchen — the objects you use daily and replace when they fail.
- Organization & Travel — storage, luggage, and things that have to survive being moved.
- Wearables — shapewear and garments where fit decides whether the purchase worked.
- General — everything that does not sit cleanly in the other four.
Each desk keeps a running memory of what fails in its category, which is how a new review starts already knowing what to look for.
What we do not claim
We do not claim to have tested these products in a lab or lived with them for a month. Our reviews are desk research: listings, buyer reviews, forums, video comments, and other publications, each named on the page. Where the evidence is thin, we say the scope is the product class rather than the exact item, and the score is capped accordingly.
