Getting it wrong
Corrections
What we do when something we published turns out to be wrong, and how to tell us.
Last updated September 7, 2026
Prices move, listings change, and manufacturers reformulate products without renaming them. A review that was accurate in March can be wrong by September.
How we handle it
- Every review shows the date its research was checked and the date it is next due for review.
- When a fact changes, we update the page and record what changed. We do not silently edit.
- When a change moves the score or the verdict, the review says so rather than pretending it always read that way.
- When we cannot verify a correction, we say what we could not confirm instead of removing the claim without explanation.
Tell us
If a price, a spec, a count or a policy on this site is wrong, send a correction. Include the review and what you believe is wrong. If you have a source, that speeds it up considerably.
We answer corrections whether or not they change the page.
